Tennising

Haha, I made a new word! Tennising. I like that. 

Anyway! Today, Lauren, Sarah, Andrew, and I went to a tennis court and played! Yes, in this burning hot weather... 

I hadn't played tennis in like, oh, who knows how many years. It had been forever. 

Let's just say I was slightly rusty. I hit the fence countless times, and threw my racket in the air twice. I'm not sure if it was the tennis playing or the ball chasing that gave me my exercise for the day.

New Glasses!

First off, let me say sorry. 

I haven't been on here much! Not posting, not commenting, not anything. And I'm really sorry. I have no excuse, I just haven't been on here. 

Today, my mom and I went to LensCrafters! After wearing the same pair of glasses for 6 years, it was time for a new one. I couldn't see a thing. 

I don't know about you, but I really enjoy going to the eye doctor! There's something strangely cool about reading letters to see how bad your eyes are and then them puffing air into your eyes. The only part that's hard is when they stick lenses in front of you in some machine asking you which one looks better... they kinda look the same! 

So, my eyes were much worse than I thought! My prescription changed 150%!  Can I hear a 'whoa'?  

Yeah, I was surprised too! My glasses suddenly got a lot thicker!

 Overall, the day was really nice. I had subway for lunch, a Starbucks Mocha Cookie Crumble Frapp for a chiller, got new glasses, and took my earrings out. 

YAY!! My earring were finally able to come out!!! I put in another pair of studs, just because they are still a little sore, and I didn't want to wear danglies yet. 

Sorry for the odd position, I was trying not to get a glare in my glasses.

They didn't bleed (YAY!), but it did kinda hurt getting them out. The back wouldn't come off. I pulled, and loosened it, but they just wouldn't budge! So I went to Lauren. She tugged a little, then YANK!! Wish you could have seen the look on my face. OW!!!

My Birthday!! :)

Hey guys!!! It's so nice to be back!! 

Okay, first off, I'm still just totally blown away. On my birthday, I received emails, e-cards, chats, and even blog posts. I want to thank every one of you who wished me a happy birthday! THANK YOU!!! :)

We had hamburgers, potato salad, deviled eggs, baked beans, and a few other things.

Jewelry from my grandparents :)

These are actually silver, not red. I was shooting with a red camera lol!

See this last necklace? Has a story with it. 

So my sweet brother gave me this little bag on my party night. My family, my grandparents, and my great-grandma were all watching me open it. I found a little a jewelry box inside the bag. I was thinking "Oh yay!" (I love jewelry). But when I opened the box, there wasn't anything in it. I kinda looked up a little confused, and he goes "I thought you might want a box to put jewelry in," in the sweetest, most innocent voice ever. He looked serious. 

I must say I recovered quickly... I started thanking him nonstop and saying how I needed a box for my jewelry and making a complete dufus of myself... when he pulled out a gorgeous necklace and earrings from his pocket as my entire family laughs. Brothers.
