I Love Lucy (Literally!)

I'm sorry if I haven't been posting things very interesting lately. I've had a terrible loss of inspiration.
But once again, like it happens every time, an idea hit me like the frying pan on Tangled. Clang!
Everyone always seems to be talking about a TV show or music artist they're obsessed with. Well, it's my turn :)
My absolute favorite show is I Love Lucy!
It's a hilarious black and white comedy made in the 50s.
It's about a New York City housewife name Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball). She's married to Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz, her real life husband), an entertainer.  Their best friends are Ethel and Fred Mertz, the landlords in their apartment building.
I Love Lucy has 9 seasons, all about the adventures of Lucy and her wild schemes!

I Love Lucy, Season 3

I want these things!! They're so cute!!

Oh, to drink my milk out of that :)

My dream car!!
Oh, what a neat purse!!

So, this is my absolute favorite show!
Why don't you check out some clips on YouTube? I guarantee you'll love it!!!

Hey, I love your blog! I was wondering if you could tell me how you got this template. I know it is from but when ever I try to get it, it fails! Could you comment with the answer, that would be awesome!

Kathryn said...

Yes, you were in the right place! Under the 2 column template, it says "Click here to get the two column template." Click on that, and then scroll down. Copy all the HTML code that's there. It starts like this: <?xml
Copy all of the code, then go to your "template" place on Blogger. Delete all of the current code, and paste in the new one. Click Save templates, then 'keep widgets'. And wala!! BTW, if you are using the updated interface, switch back to the old one until after you finish getting the new template up. Sometimes the new interface doesn't work very well for putting up templates.
Hope this helped!

Wow! You really do love Lucy!! Your sister thought about drawing a portrait of Lucy! I might do that myself just for the fun of it... Then give it to you and your sister (since you both are such big Lucy fans)! I love watching the re-runs!

Kathryn said...

Oh, I do!! Yes, she told me about that! We have pictures of Lucy on our desktop right now. She is going to try and do one for the fair I think!
I don't think she's quite as big a fan as me, but I know she likes watching them! I think she really wants to draw her because she has awesome hair and textured lips! I think it would be fun to draw her!
Oh, I can't wait to see your drawing of her!!!
