Okay. I think it's hit me. Today is the first of February, but it feels like spring! I'm sitting here in my bedroom with an open window and a slight breeze... The birds are chirping loudly outside. The sky is a bright blue with puffy white clouds.
Ah, I had forgotten what it feels like... It's on days like this that we truly admire God's wonderful creation. Every little bird and each tiny blade of grass was made by Him.
I love watching the trees dance in the wind and the clouds move across the sky. But you know, sometimes we seem to only think about God and his marvelous creation on days that we enjoy. What about the days where the rain pounds outside and the ice lays on the sidewalk? Shouldn't we rejoice then, too?
I must admit that when we had lots of ice this winter, I wasn't thinking about how God created it and how wonderful it is in it's own way. This year, I'm going to try and think of God's wonderful creation every single day, whether rain, snow, ice, or sunshine. Won't you join me?
Until next time,
Kathryn :-)

Thank you, Tane!! Yes, I realized too that it was a little harder to be thankful on a icy cold day than one where you can go outside and ride your bike :-)
